1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Egypt Print Club, a print subscription operated from Cairo, Egypt (“Egypt Print Club,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By visiting egyptprintclub.com (the “Site”), creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or our services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account or purchase a subscription. By using the Site you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
3. Account and security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us promptly at hello@egyptprintclub.com if you suspect any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate an account that we believe, in our reasonable judgment, has been compromised, used in violation of these Terms, or used in a way that could harm us or our members.
4. Subscriptions and billing
- Membership tiers. Egypt Print Club is offered as a recurring monthly subscription in tiers. The tier you select and its current price are displayed at checkout.
- Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically each billing cycle until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method on file at the start of each cycle for the applicable amount, including any taxes.
- Payment processor.Payments are processed by Stripe. By providing payment information, you agree to Stripe’s terms in addition to these Terms. We do not store full card numbers.
- Failed payments. If a charge fails, we may retry, pause, or cancel your subscription, and we may withhold shipment until payment is resolved.
- Price changes. We may change prices for subscriptions from time to time. Any change will apply to the next billing cycle after we give you reasonable advance notice by email or on the Site, and you may cancel before the change takes effect if you do not agree.
- Taxes, duties, and fees. Prices may exclude applicable taxes, customs duties, import fees, and similar charges, which may be assessed by your local authorities and are your responsibility unless otherwise stated.
5. Shipping
- Editions are dispatched from Cairo, Egypt on a monthly cadence. Production and dispatch windows vary by edition; estimated delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.
- You are responsible for keeping your shipping address current in your account. We are not responsible for delays, losses, or non-delivery caused by an inaccurate or out-of-date address, by an unattended delivery, or by carrier or customs handling once the package leaves our facility.
- Title and risk of loss for each shipment pass to you on delivery to the carrier.
- International orders may be subject to customs inspection, import duties, and taxes assessed by the destination country. Any such charges are your responsibility.
6. Cancellations, refunds, and returns
- Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account page or by writing to hello@egyptprintclub.com. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not refund completed charges or already-shipped editions, except where required by law.
- Refunds. Because each edition is a numbered, limited-run printed item produced specifically for active members, monthly charges are generally non-refundable once the billing cycle has begun. We may, in our discretion, issue a partial or full refund or credit for goodwill, technical errors, duplicate charges, or where required by applicable consumer protection law.
- Damaged or lost shipments. If your edition arrives damaged, defective, or does not arrive within a reasonable time of dispatch, contact us within thirty (30) days of the shipping date with your order details and, where applicable, photographs of the damage. We will, at our option, replace the item, issue a credit, or refund the affected edition.
- Returns. We do not accept returns of correctly shipped editions. Items reported as damaged or defective will be handled under the section above.
- Statutory rights. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable rights you have under the consumer laws of your jurisdiction.
7. Intellectual property
The Site and all editions, prints, photographs, illustrations, text, designs, layouts, logos, and other materials produced by Egypt Print Club or its contributors are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to enjoy the editions you purchase for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, scan, copy, redistribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from any edition or Site content without our prior written permission, except as expressly permitted by law (such as fair use or fair dealing).
8. User submissions
If you send us feedback, suggestions, photographs, or other content (“Submissions”), you grant Egypt Print Club a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display those Submissions in connection with our business, including marketing, without obligation to compensate you. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to grant this license and that the Submissions do not infringe any third-party rights.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site to violate any law or regulation or the rights of others.
- Attempt to access accounts, systems, or data that are not yours, or to probe, scan, or test the security of the Site.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site, including by introducing viruses, scraping at scale, or overloading our infrastructure.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Site or any edition without our written permission.
- Use the Site to send unsolicited communications or to harass any person.
10. Third-party services
The Site relies on third-party services (including payment, hosting, email, and shipping providers) and may link to external sites we do not control. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site and the services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that the Site will be error-free or that defects will be corrected. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Egypt Print Club, its owners, employees, contractors, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or related to the Site or services will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid Egypt Print Club in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim or (b) one hundred United States dollars (US$100). Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Egypt Print Club and its owners, employees, contractors, and suppliers from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site or services, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
14. Termination
You may terminate these Terms at any time by canceling your subscription and ceasing use of the Site. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or to protect the Site, our members, or third parties. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Subject to any non-waivable rights you have under the consumer laws of your place of residence, you and Egypt Print Club agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt for any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, we will provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of the Site or services after a change becomes effective means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Site and cancel any active subscription before the change takes effect.
17. Miscellaneous
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Egypt Print Club concerning the Site and services. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Notices to you may be sent by email to the address on file or posted on the Site.
