By using the Site or our services, you agree to the practices described below.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, information generated through your use of the Site, and information received from service providers who help us operate.

- To print, package, and ship your monthly edition.
- To send transactional messages such as receipts, shipping updates, account notices, and policy changes.

4. Legal bases for processing
Where applicable law (including the EU and UK GDPR) requires us to identify a legal basis for processing your information, we rely on: (a) performance of our contract with you to deliver the subscription you purchased; (b) our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Site and services; (c) compliance with legal obligations; and (d) your consent, where consent is required (for example, for optional marketing communications). You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.
5. How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who run essential parts of our operation under contract, including Stripe (payments), our hosting and database providers, transactional email providers, and shipping carriers and customs brokers needed to deliver your edition.
- Professional advisors such as lawyers, accountants, and auditors, when needed and under confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities and others when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Egypt Print Club, our members, or the public.
- Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
6. International data transfers
Egypt Print Club operates from Egypt and uses service providers that may process information in the United States, the European Union, and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms to protect your information when it crosses borders.
7. Data retention
We keep account and subscription data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and legal obligations. Payment records are retained according to the requirements of our payment processor and applicable law. Backups are rotated on a normal schedule and deleted in due course.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, salted password hashing (scrypt), access controls, and limited staff access on a need-to-know basis. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the Site at your own risk.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update, port, restrict, or delete personal information we hold about you, to object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@egyptprintclub.com from the address on file. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and certain information must be retained where the law requires it.
10. Cookies
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to maintain session state. We do not use cookies to build cross-site advertising profiles. You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the Site (including sign-in) may stop working.
11. Children
The Site and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
12. Third-party links
The Site may include links to third-party services such as Instagram or Twitter / X. Those services have their own privacy practices, which we do not control and which are not covered by this policy.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, we will provide a more prominent notice (for example, by email or a notice on the Site). Your continued use of the Site after a change becomes effective means you accept the updated policy.
